For those who may not be aware, the chroma key feature has existed in iMovie since iMovie '09. Unlike Windows Movie Maker, you do not need to install any additional plugins or do extra setup to get it working. In this demo, we're using iMovie 10.1. If you're using an older version, you may need to consult help files or other sites for the specific steps required to apply a chroma-key effect.

While you can use tape, a c-clamp or other methods to fasten the 1080P camera to table surfaces, you may also wish to attach the camera to a tripod. Here's a simple method using a screw, nut, and large washer. Depending on your tripod plate, it's possible to modify this method for other tripod brands. If you have a cheap plastic tripod, it's often possible to unscrew the tripod plate screw, insert a bolt, and mount the camera as shown above. All done!
